Since 2001, I’m proud to have represented clients from throughout central Kentucky. It’s been my honor to help folks with foreclosures, Social Security disability actions, getting a fresh start in bankruptcy, criminal defense, personal injury, including medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, car wreck cases, insurance claims, and to help families who were facing troubles related to divorce, custody actions, and even the joy that are adoptions.
A large chunk of my career has been devoted to helping clients in the 18th Judicial Circuit, which includes Pendleton, Robertson, Nicholas, and Harrison counties. But what’s been the highlight of my career so far is I’m now in a position to call many of those clients my friends.
My name is Brian Canupp and with that experience and background in mind, I’m excited to announce my candidacy for the district judgeship of the 18th Judicial Circuit.
While I’ve been practicing law for a number of years, the last six years of my practice, I’ve been focused on serving as your assistant Harrison County Attorney. In that job, I’ve had the opportunity to learn just how important a judge is to making our community safe and to providing second chances to those who deserve them. I’ve learned that without consequences, we don’t have rules. And I’ve learned that sometimes the judge is faced with a difficult decision between tough love and appropriate consequences. In our community, we rely on our district judge to make the best decisions possible in tough situations.
I believe with my experience, my compassion, and my devotion to the community, I’m your best candidate to serve as district judge. Thank you, and I look forward to meeting you along the campaign trail.
